2025 Calendar
Build Weekend - January 17-19 2025 - £Free
Horley Scout Camp, Wroxton, Banbury , Oxfordshire OX15 6BB
A chance for a social/practical meetup to work on weapons, props, costume
and so on for the upcoming year. Share skills and resources and maybe even do a tiny bit of skirmishing to test things out. This is sort of a replacement for the Christmas Tag events of old with a more practical leaning.
Some bunks available, but contact us in advance as they will be very limited. Otherwise it's camping in January, brrr!
Booking - TBC!
Tag-Con - February 1st 2025 - £TBC(will be 10-13)
First occuring in 1990, Tag-Con is possibly the longest running LARP convention in the world, if you know of something earlier let us know! As ever we will feature a series of presentations on different topics and would like to extend an invitation to anybody who would like to present something. If you have an idea but are not sure how to present then send James Bloodworth a message in the Facebook group and he can work it out.
Currently we have the following programme items with more to come:
- "Whither Tag in 2025?" by the UKLTA committee
- “We’re in the pipe 5 by 5” Radio Communications in Laser-Tag LARP by Tim Atkinson
- “What’s the Story MU|TH|UR?” The Tech behind the props of The Drake Objective by Nick Reynolds
- "Only in Death does Duty End" details for the upcoming Warhammer 40K game by Dai Rees
We will also have the traditional quiz which will feature a round we can guarantee has never been seen before! If anyone has any queries then please let James know.
